New Product Line at Assemble

Assemble Gallery & Studio launched a new product line this week that we helped design. The line consists of an array of goods that one may use in a DIY project. Invites, place cards, wedding favors, party fun, etc. If you're lucky enough to live in Seattle, which is where Assemble is basesd, visit their store to check out this fun new addition.

Undecorate Book Signing

Last night, I ventured over to Weego Home in Santa Monica for a book signing. The book was Undecorate by Christiane Lemieux of Dwell Studio.

Undecorate features the stylings of 20 unique homes from all over the country. I have yet to seriously dive into the book, but after a quick flip I can reveal that one of my initial favorites is Light Touch - a home in Brooklyn, NY.

French Paper! Their "ThINK on Paper" promotional postcards in Print magazine have me thINKing about your paper. When Print arrives in the mail, you are the first thing that I flip to find. I think I'm officially collecting them because there's a small pile growing in my sample drawer.

Speaking in Pantones

My best friend in design school carried a color chip of her favorite Pantone around in her wallet. It was Pantone 199. Maybe she kept it on hand in case she ever had to answer the question – what is your favorite color/Pantone? As long as she had her wallet, there was always visual confirmation. It was fun.

Assemble Gallery & Studio Opens!

Jot was approached by a Seattle-based team of two to help create and roll out a visual identity for their concept Assemble – a gallery, workshop, and retail space. After months and months of strategizing, collaborating and designing, Assemble opened their charming red door for business.
